How To Train A Yorkshire Terrier

When it comes to training a yorkshire terrier, it can be kinda hard.  Especially when they're not paying attention to you.  Although it can seem like a very difficult thing to do, it's actually quite easy.  You just have to know what you're doing.

So, what I'm going to share with you are a few tips on yorkshire terrier training.  That way, you will be able to start training your dog will know the proper way on how to train a yorkshire terrier.

The first thing you're going to need to do is make sure you give your dog rewards after doing the trick or command that you ask them to perform.  This will make your yorkie happy and get them excited.  It will cause them to want to do more tricks and obey more commands.

To reward your dog, you can either give them a treat or snack, or you can get really excited and tell them they've done a great job.  I recommend doing both.  Make sure you alternate between the two.

Another Yorkshire terrier training tip is to put your dog on a potty schedule whenever you're trying to potty train your Yorkie.  This will make it easy for them to remember where they have to go potty, so that they won't do it in your house.

A good thing to do is take them outside every few hours.  Your dog will get use to going outside and will know that outside is where they should potty.

Now, if you want to train them to potty on a pad, then what you have to do is show your dog the pad every couple of hours.  Also, make sure you take a piece of them poop and put it on the pad.  This will show your Yorkshire terrier that that is the place for them to potty.

These are some yorkshire terrier training tips that you can use to train your yorkie.  If you want your dog to be well behaved, obey your commands, and do whatever you tell them to do, make sure you use the tips above.  It'll make it easy for you to train your Yorkie.
